Step 1: Create a new project.

The first tab on the menu bar shows you all the projects you’ve created. Click the New Project button to get started.

Enter the project name with a description (highly recommended if this is for your clients).

Here is the working area of the blank project. Click Upload New Video in the top-right corner of the screen to upload videos for your project.

To add videos, you have 4 options:

1/ Upload a video

2/ Add video from URL

3/ Add stock video

4/ From the media library

When you successfully upload the videos, they appear in the right column of the screen as below:

Step 2: Arrange the videos

You need to drag & drop the video into the canvas. The drag-and-drop technology makes it much easier for you to arrange the video.

To create a branch (each video is called the node), you can:

1/ Move the arrow of the video to another.

2/Double-click on the video for more connecting options.

Here is the customization area for the video. On the main screen, you can see all the types of elements you can add to the video. You can also preview the newly-added elements on the mini-screen.

Before showing you more about the elements, I will make this video interactive first. Click on the Interaction Layer.

Choose the layer preset by clicking Select.

The interaction layer is fully customizable, allowing you to adjust each interactive element and its background color, animation properties, etc.

Click on the interactive element on the preview screen.

Click to choose what to show when viewers click on the elements. In this example, I chose Play Node.

And of course, you need to choose which node to play. (in this example, I chose the Node-Americano):

And now, when you go back to the canvas, you can see the branch between the intro and the americano node.

When I’ve connected all the elements on the intro video to each node, here came the canvas.

Step 3: Add new elements to the interactive video

To add new elements, click the Add New Elements button. Or you can double-click to change the text.

To add new elements, drag the icon onto the video. Here are a few types of elements you can add:

• Hotspot: choose an area on the video – it’s like the invisible button.

You just need to add the element name here and click Next.

Choose the on-click content and click Done.

You can adjust the show time of each element using the timeline under the video.

• Button: add a fully customizable button that lets you embed a link or URL.

Enter the button name, then click Next.

Choose the type of button you want to create.

You can change the text or resize the button here.

Choose what to show on click and click Done.

• Text: drag & drop this icon into the video to insert a new text box.
• Dynamic Text: This allows you to add text with changeable names.

• Popup

You can choose the pop-up template from the library and click Done.

Step 4: Save & Publish

Before you save, you can preview the video to ensure all interactive elements lead to the correct node.

Click to Save & Publish Changes to release the videos.

In the publishing section, you can get the embed code or customize the player settings. If you make any changes, remember to save them.

Choose Sharing to personalize the sharing settings.

To see the effectiveness of your projects, click Analytics for more details.

The Settings tab lets you adjust the project’s general settings.
